The survey also found that one in four respondents believe the chemical industry is least concerned about the environment. Furthermore, 77% of respondents believe plastic is the least environmentally responsible packaging material, while paper is considered the safest. This is evidenced by the 71% increase in online searches for sustainable goods globally in the past five years.
